Ron Sandison

Storyteller and Author

As a young boy, Ron Sandison developed a remarkable skill of telling complete imaginative stories, and his mother, who is a fine-art painter, wrote down Ron's stories and illustrated them.  She then used his original stories to teach Ron reading, math and science.

Ron’s storytelling ability never faded. He credits his mother’s dedication to him, and his particular focus on long distance running, as factors that permitted him to graduate from high school with his neuro-typical peers.

Ron has a Master’s Degree in Divinity, has written a book, A Parents Guide to Autism, and works full time at a hospital. He and his wife Kristen are parents of a beautiful young daughter, Makayla.

Ron is a frequent speaker at conferences and writes regularly for newspapers and autism journals. He is particularly proud that he has memorized of more than 10,000 Scriptures including 22 complete books of the New Testament.  Ron's Bible memorization task continues faithfully for several hours every day.

Ron can be contacted at sandison456@hotmail.com. His website is www.spectruminclusion.com
